Speaking about dreams, I got to talk to a good kawan of mine, Renee Beh about dreams. She's one funny gal! Recently joined Amway and comes to college tired at times because she couldn't sleep just thinking about the great plans and ideas that lies ahead of her! haha! She's a real life Amway Zombie. Very much excited for her as well seeing the immense enthusiasm and excitement brewing in her life to be rich and successful and I believe she's gonna do fantastic. I mean rarely you get to meet these kind of people who have that kind of passion for life and successes and I tell you, it's definitely a good break from encountering the opposite people all the time. Haha! she's on her way. Believe in you pal.

I'm excited for CHRISTMAS! Gonna end this year with a BANG. You wait 2011. *grins*

HELLO!!!! I'm back from the Buka Puasa dinner with the PM and I've got 3 words...

WHAT. A. NIGHT!!

It's a whole different atmosphere altogether! Imagine putting a whole bunch of young aspiring entrepreneurs, solution makers, business people and influential people in one table, you'll not leave the table uninspired or unchanged! I'm talking about people who would sit and talk to each other about solutions and business projects to benefit the society, achievements and ideas that could shape the tomorrow of our society! WOW. I had my firsthand experience of it today and it was fantastic! Loved it!

It was more of a learning and discovering process for me as I continue to keep my ears open listening and understanding the ideas and experiences some of the already-in-the-field young entrepreneurs shared. I've nothing much to show YET but on the way back home, with a big confident smile, I knew that my plans and future in this line is marked with Greatness. This is it! I was there for a reason, I spoke to the people I spoke to for a reason and now it's gonna take off! It's coming my way! I AM MARKED! =) Have already got an idea to work on! Business partner anyone? Haha.

To those of you who are curious as to how I got to the dinner in the first place; it actually started with me researching here and there on the net on "Young Entrepreneurs Malaysia". And I stumble across this promo that gives out a privilege to be on the YEM's 500 super special list. I qualified! Haha. The next few days later I got an invitation e-mail from them to dine with the PM. Only 30 spots are available and whoever RSVP first will get it. Unfortunately, I didn't make it on time. The next day however, I sent my dad for a check up at the hospital and supposedly after that, we were suppose to head to Petaling Street to check the clothes. But he somehow forgot about it and happen to drive straight back home. I checked my mail, found out that in a few minutes time, they're gonna send an e-mail to give out 30 MORE spots to the fastest RSVP-er! I so happen to be there at that moment and sent it in just in time! And the next thing I know.. I'M IN!!

The place where the dinner was held wasn't as I and also A LOT of the other youths had expected! Haha!! We were actually expecting a large banquet hall indoor with air-conditioning and all. But we were brought to this HUGE decorated tent pitched next to a lake. It was pretty impressive! The weather was fine, the food was good and the service was top notch! Very classy! So it was worth the impromptu haircut and act of buying an oversized Batik Shirt after all. =P Even the PM knew we were expecting to dine in his hall and see where the Prime Minister lives! Haha!

Ahh, lots more to share but I better catch some sleep! Maybe when we get to have breakfast/lunch/dinner together yeah? Would love to share!

That's not even half of the whole group of Young Entrepreneurs present! haha!

P.S. I did get to see the PM! I got to stand right in front of him at his table. Haha! Also the youths were given the chance to talk to him for a few minutes on what they're doing. I've not got my chance yet. ;)

Boy oh boy what a season this one's gonna be!

#1 First up, MY INDUSTRIAL TRAINING ENDED! *Trumpets blare in songs of celebration* Hahaha! Away from me Italiannies! =P

#2 Our Subang Campus Carecell launched off and it's met with a series of some exciting things to look forward to! With a BIG God on our side, we know, there's just NOTHING we can't achieve!

#3 At the beginning of this season I began to embrace what I felt was the passion and ability that's been resonating in me. Which are: Entrepreneurship and Public Speaking. I absolutely love what I see and picture in my mind of what I can do in the future as I continue to allow myself to be a mouthpiece for God. It's gonna be amazing! And already opportunities are opening before me, doors are opened, new contacts are made! It's gonna build up and build up and build up!

Ok its really late for me to update my blog at this hour but it's only one of the few chances I can update my blog! Shift ended earlier at 11.00pm and I rarely get the luxury of having to use the net as much because of that. But on the sunny side of things, it's just 18 MORE DAYS! Did I say 18 more days? Yeah. 18 MORE DAYS!!

Ben: ... 18 MORE DAYS!

Ben: ... ... Ya, satu nasi. Makan sini.

Now last saturday was just awesome! Got to sing and play the guitar to "Happy Day" as part of the worship team assignment and wow it was a real first time surprising experience! Haha. Having to pick up the guitar after months and months not playing it, getting to practice only a day before the performance and what not, the nervous gut feeling of it all that I always seem to have. Haha.

One of the songs we sang for PnW that I really love a lot is "Arise". (which I'll post the video of the song at the bottom of the post) Theres this excitement and power that goes along with it that simply echoes: This is OUR time! This is it! We CAN because theres a GREATER power working through us! We CAN achieve our dreams. It's such a power-packed song. Kudos worship team! =)

Also, I just can't thank God enough for what He has done in just these past two months alone! First, my mum just got saved!! Talk about God's promises! “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved, you and your household.” -Acts 16:31.

I remember that period of time before my mum came down to KL, I was praying and declaring for just that to happen. Proclaiming the promise of that verse, going in spiritual warfare and claiming salvation over her life. And it happened! Once again, God showed me just how He can do. I remember someone prophesying/praying that in my 20's my mum will be saved, so I hanged on to that. What I overlooked was the fact that..

My God is too big to be limited.

Not only that, a friend of mine from Italiannies came with me to Church last Sunday and his story is even more jaw-dropping. Haha. It started out with me inviting another guy, an oikos over to Church to just see how it is. He didn't look pretty keen about it but the other guy overheard my conversation and just out of the blues he asked "Can I come?". That morning, I was suppose to meet him up somewhere so he can tag behind me to Church. However he overslept and when I called he rushed. Moments later he called telling me his motorcycle was taken by his dad and he left early. So he had no means of transport. That's what I thought, till he mentioned "I'll take a taxi and come". Surprisingly, I thought people would just stop and sleep through after not having any means of transport to come! Cut the long story short, he enjoyed, love the service, told me he didn't want to miss a week of it, accepted Jesus and plan to invite his business downlines and dad to come! AMAZING. I remember, also, praying and declaring and just seeing the picture in my head of him getting saved.

I can't even mutter a single word to express how AWESOME this God I serve is. MAN..! God, you're incredible, and I love you.

And now, I have in my heart something big I want to do, which I'm believing once again, He will not fail to show and prove Himself in. =) God, I believe.

If theres one situation where I always find myself bumping into is having the honor and privilege ~~+ torture~~ to teach someone english. Especially people who weren't brought up speaking english, and also who happens to come from a country that doesn't have english as their primary language. Not that it's a bad thing! Haha! But it recently got me wondering, I'm not THAT patient when it comes to teaching a language, nor am I that passionate about it, so what's the factor that's been attracting these kinda teaching-to-speak conversations?:

(Vietnamese people can't seem to get the "s" sound right)

Me: Business. Bis Ness.

B: Big snake
Me: No not big snake. Bis Ness. BIZzzz.. Nessss...

B: Bissssss.....
Me: Yes.. Yes.! Go on

Gotta love these moments. Somehow whenever I look at these people, I just see and picture an image in the future where they will speak fluently and we can all laugh at these moments where the mistakes are made...

Ok now back to the topic..

Yup that's right, I'm currently doing my Industrial Training and none other than Italiannies!!

The image that comes to mind at the mention of the name is usually a cool awesome place to eat and lepak with your friends and all when you have the cash. The food there is also great and the portion is just magnifico!

That's what I thought of it too.. Till I started working there. LOL.

Yeah it's just 7 WEEKS but it feels like I'm wasting the whole month and a half just working and earning not even 1k!! Makes me reminisce the days where I was happily working in Church overnight, overtime and overly blessed. =P Ok la fine, I didn't actually took it and appreciate it that way back then. =P

It's a different field to play in altogether. Working from 12pm-10pm everyday including the weekends. Spending hours upon hours just cutting up stuff, cooking, burning, preparing, garnishing when I could've used the exact amount of time doing something way more important.. Watching Desperate Housewives- NOT.

Theres a not-so-willing-to-work side of me with a thought the whole time thinking to myself "God! Thank you that I'm meant for better and greater things and I don't have to spend my entire lift behind hot counters!"

I'm meant for more! And not in some Italian solitary confinement! =P

The second wave

I took out the recording of a prophecy given to me by Ps. Cheah and as I listened to it again, hearing that spoken word and promise from God, I was again convinced..

I'm in for an unspeakably GREAT future ahead.

For the past half year of 2010 the whole journey and experience of it all has been unlike any other. I am simply awestruck and bewildered by the favor, the grace, the opportunities, the orchestrated events, the people and the very core of God's power that's working in me.

It's not something of the ordinary nor is it something that happens everyday like common sunshine!

The way I've done things, speak, lead, act and think have changed which results in me having one of the best years of my life. And don't be surprised when I tell you that all these things are caught and learnt in Church. What can I say? I soar with the best flock around! =D

Yeah there was a time when I was encouraged to move to another house because I got robbed and lost my iPod touch, HP Laptop and a Nikon D60. Just to find that months later I got an iPhone 3Gs, Asus laptop(way better) and a Nikon D5000.

What about your family still living in average, you ask? Well not anymore! Goodbye thousands and hello millions! No joke!

Ben you speak too much but I don't see you walk the talk. Oh, you wait. Wait till you see the billions I'm going to earn and be able to sow into God's kingdom, the nations I'm going to bring out of poverty and the kingdom of God that God's going to establish through me in nations with not even 5% believers! You read and get inspired by people in the past who've done great things but just wait, you ain't seen nothing yet, GREATER things have yet to come. So you keep your eyes on me and I'll give you something to be inspired by. Haha.

What I'm saying here is not bragging nor is it pride. It comes from knowing who I am and what I'm meant for. These things, blessings and supernaturally "wow" moments of my life came through me agreeing with what God says about my life. You start saying NO to poverty, pain, disappointments, curses, sicknesses and YES to healing, greatness, favor and abundance and see what happens for yourself for goodness sake! =P

You might catch this habit I have but whenever I spend time with someone as an individual I would often like to ask about their dreams, know their plans for the future and just get to know them better through that. The connection, the unique factor, the plan. It's exciting!

Why? Because at the same time I can already picture and see an image of you victoriously achieving that dream of yours, resulting the world a better place. =)

Long awaited update on Laos

HEY you guys! I know I've promised to update on my trip to Laos long long LONG ago. I'm sorry for the delay, but here it is (finally)! Haha!

I must say, this time, the trip was satisfying! It really is! Here are a couple of reasons why:

#1 The moment I stepped and walked in Laos and during my stay, this feeling of "I have a destiny here" never ceases to stir in my heart and I know, God has Great and Amazing plans for me in this nation. It feels awesome. To catch and to sync with the glimpse of your destiny. Let's do it together, Lord. =)

#2 I was right on time to still be able to experience the winter season! No need for air-cond at night and cool sun shiny afternoon by the day. Fabulous!

#3 Mum brought me out to eat like almost every single day! And these are some real good food! haha! Got closer to my mum too!

#4 Bought Glee and CSI NY for such a good deal! It only cost around RM3.50 for a CD with 3-4 episodes in it! Real worth it! Quality is up to beat!

Hey ya'll!
Written exams are officially over! Woohooo! There was joy and celebration as I crumbled my BM question paper and threw it away. =P Could've remembered that the song "Hallelujah, Jesus is alive" was playing in my head and I was humming to the tune of it while waiting for the elevator. LOL!
[Vic, its the same song we sang when burning the idolatry thing! lol!]

Remember when I tweeted(well to you people with no twitter accounts, get one you ~~uncivilized~~ beautiful people!) mentioning how I didn't practice/use BM for more than 2 years now but at the same time mentioned Phil 4:13?

Welp, I was surprised to see the required number of words were to be MORE than 300 words! Like how in the world am I gonna write that much if my BM level has diminished to lower than a high school level of BM? =P

Wrote the essay with full eloquence and wisdom, including repeating lots of words and rewriting the question at some part. LOL! But I got it over 310+! Whats more surprising was that some of my coursemates couldn't even pass 300!

Didn't I tell you I serve an amazing God? Hahaha! Even as I write the test, lost for words, I found myself remembering words that I've not used for so long suddenly appearing on my mind! Wow!

Soon after the exam ended, I decided to head to Sunway to celebrate. Lol! Had in my mind to watch Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and I absolutely loved it! Two thumbs up! If you know me well enough, you'll know how I simply love cartoon animated movies! They're one of a kind man! Nothing like it. Haha! =D

Backtracking a little, while waiting for the movie to start though, felt that I should head to Popular and just grab a good book and read. Got two books before I went and sit down at the rows of chairs in front of the tv where they're advertising this annoying advertisement on this smart pen product name Robin. GRR! =.="..

Two books I got were "Have a little faith" by Mitch Albom and "The Fear of The Lord" by John Bevere, one awesome speaker who I really look up to! Haha. The first book by Mitch was very nicely done and I like the book (Christmas coming *ahem hint hint*).

The second one though was something different and extraordinary.. and it just spoke to me so strongly that moment just by reading only the first chapter! I just HAD to buy the book! Which I happily did. haha! My day then took a whole new turn upwards. =D

Also, was having lunch with a friend of mine earlier today when I overheard a conversation going on between some people sitting at a table behind me which really got me shaking my head in disappointment and anger.

God, REALLY use me as that hammer. It's smashing time. Freedom guaranteed.

Went to Nathan's Mamak Corner @ OUG earlier just now in my awesome car! Picked up Joseph Ng and my coursemate Lee on the way. Why all the way to OUG? Because it's free! lol! No kidding! They had an open house and we were one of the few ~~desperate, sad people with no life~~ hungry, adventurous people who decided to go for it! Haha!

I really like what I did with the car! I bought two stickers from Asean Avenue @ Sunway Pyramid the other day. One that says "There's no force greater than the power of God" and one colourful cool sticker that says "I love Jesus" hahaha! awesome! Now to add other things to make it more comfortable! =D

We reached there and to start the ceremony, they ignited a firecracker that was or SHOULD be used only on Chinese New Year, but don't know lar what came to their mind when they thought of Deepavali Open House... =P

People start rushing to get the food and for a moment, me standing there in the queue holding a plate to get food made me feel like I'm in a poverty food drive like that. =P

One thing however though that I've been experiencing this day was anger. Yup thats right, anger. I'm angry..

Really angry... In the wise knowledgeable words of the Hulk: "You don't like me when I'm angry" =P

#1 It got me angry and this feeling builds up in me as this morning I see College students (even girls!) smoking and acting as though its the coolest thing on Earth to do.

#2 It got me angry when I see the way guys in College are living their lives and I turn to God and asked Him that He'll make me someone these people can and want to look up and follow. I want that.

#3 It got me angry when at the Mamak as I look to my left at a table where 3 young teenage boys are sitting down, lighting up a cigarette to smoke and ALSO, acting cool about it. [I asked Jo how old does he think they are, the answer he gave was 15. Yes, they do look 15].

I'm angry, because while these people are capable and are meant to do SOOOO much more, the powers of this world are holding them back. I desire to see this chains be broken off them. I desire to break and destroy the stronghold of the enemy so bad, they will flee and know better not to mess with God's sons and daughters of this world.

Use me as that hammer God. Because I want to break them free.

And yup! My parents drove all the way from Laos man! Haha! They started on Monday and arrived today.

And the amazing thing was how in less than 5 minutes in my house and my mum already started nagging about untidy how the place is.. LoL!! =P Whoops! XP

See what I mean? =P When mums ~~attack~~ ~~invade~~ comes home. Lol!

But on the bright side, the "power" is in my hands! Lol!

This was yesterday's event at CF. Worship team preparing. The feeling of the preparation was awesome! So Hillsong-like! lol!! You know as if it is gonna be one awesome time of Praise and Worship. Ahh God is So Good! =)

I've learnt something from Ps. Reuben last Saturday that completely blew my mind! And to top that, Rev. Daniel Cheah ALSO preached a SUPER message that blasted my day off to a whole new level! haha! It was definitely a beyond extraordinary weekend! I love my Church. =)

It really got me excited to want to apply these things to my life and see the awesome change that's gonna happen. Its a New Season! (Yes, I know we've sang that song so many hundred times already =P but its true! haha!)

One of the things Ps. Reuben said that day that really caught my attention was: "Are you found in the right place and the right time when greatness comes?" That was woahh!! Then I heard this: "Are you gonna let emotion or conviction drive you?" And as the verse of one of my fav song goes: "I'm not gonna live by what I feel.." (Guesses for the song anyone? =P)

I want to live a life of a champion. And as what Ps. Reuben said this is what Champion talk is: "God's glory and presence might be everywhere and anywhere else, but I will fight to the DEATH to make sure His glory and presence is HERE!". (He was referring to how David and his men went all the way into the Philistine's territory to take back the Ark of Covenant) FANTASTIC! =D

And there was beard! O_O"! ~~And thus saith the Lord that the harvest shall be plentiful! =P~~ But the workers are few! (I need to get shavers.. T-T)

Not only that. I noticed I suddenly have a mark/scar in between my eyebrows when I look at ~~the handsome man~~ myself in the mirror! Quite a big one too! Picture will be up later. Haha! Its dark red and looks almost as if I accidently played with a lipstick and drew myself on the head. WHICH IS NOT TRUE! =.="..

Went out with my pals Jo and Victor yesterday just to catch up over the week and we got to watch G-Force (well, only me and Vic, since Jo abandoned and forsaken us =P). One of these days, I really gotta watch 500 days of summer! Made a mistake watching A Perfect Getaway instead. =S

Next week's gonna be one awesome week! Yes this week has its downside and times where the annointing of the spirit of slap is stronger than ever (=P) but no doubt, greater is He who is in us than the one who is in the world! We're gonna make it out through this, not just alive, not just barely, we're gonna make it out with our head held high and strong! YEAHH! ;D Let's do this PlanetShakers!

This past week has been one of a kind! Lots of downside to it(ones that really hits hard) but also lots of victories and blessings that overwhelms them all and believing there are MORE to come! =D

Went out to dinner with the awesome leaders of SE(whom I love and dearly respect =P) to Klang to a place called "A li Tiong"(O_O"!) for my belated birthday celebration! =D First I thought it was the name of an Indian(I think?) waiter there (who was really nice to us =D) but turned out it's not only the name of the waiter, but was the name of the restaurant and the owner! O_O"! Because I heard my leaders call the owner and the waiter both by the name Ali.. So I assumed it was so.. LOL.

The food there was spectacular I tell you! Never in my life have I tasted such blissful Char Kuey Teow. =P

Lots of laughter along the way! You know its gonna be an awesome ride if Ps. Reuben's in the car with you! lol! Till theres the long jam along the way.. =.="..

After that the leaders came up with this spontaneous impromptu idea of going to the carnival that we passed by. Worse part was that the birthday people (Tara and myself) were ~~commanded/forced~~ asked to go on the merry-go-round! T-T And it was recorded! Pai seh ar!! lol!! Nooooooo! Can't believe I did that! lol!

It was a day to remember indeed! Thanks a million guys!! I wouldn't be at the level I am without you leaders! =D

Yeahhhhhhh!!!! Really looking forward to that! =D

You never really see me having or buying albums of other well-known artists or bands like Paramore, Black Eyed Peas, Jason Mraz or ~~Phua Chu Kang~~ Chris Daughtry but you always see me into music from Hillsongs and Planetshakers. Haha!

I do listen to those songs (all sorts of songs! =D) and I have all kinds of them on my iPod which I do enjoy listening to btw! =D One which I got really attached to was Rihanna's "Hatin' on the Club". LOL! Love all sorts of music but when it comes to buying their albums, lets just say I'm not someone who would invest in that. =P I usually get them off youtube! haha!

But when it comes to PlanetShakers and Hillsongs I would be glad to! It excites me each time they have a new album because each time they do, the whole music and tune, message and power of the songs keeps getting better and better! I do not adore the band but I definitely love what they are doing for God and how they are reaching out to people through these songs of praise and worship! =D

They are all God-inspired works and there is a real HUGE difference when you indulge yourself in songs like "I know you want me" by Pitbull compared to "I Just Want You" by PlanetShakers. Hahaha! Huge difference!

There are songs that are just for entertainment purposes but there are songs that speaks of life, truth and all that He is....

Hey guys! Its my 2nd day in Laos and wow, its actually good to be back in the midst of my family again and I tell you this, in terms of comfort and coziness, my family's place here is so much better compared to Mentari Court! Lol!

The toilet at my house here is so clean, even the toilet seat is whiter than the colour of my teeth. =.=".. Air-Cond sleeping nights are back and I'm loving it! Breakfast is set and ready the moment I wake up and I don't even have to do the laundry! lol! Thats only because my family have erm.. 3 maids in the house? Hahaha! No I don't live in a Palace! I'll tell you why when any of you guys meet up with me and ask.. =)

But despite all these things, I still miss KL. I miss Malaysia. Haha. And I'm believing I'm gonna be blessed with so much more, my future home will be so much better, so much more comfortable and cozy, a real good car that I can drive with! (So I'm saying goodbye to KTM's and public transport =P) ~~and that I'm gonna be blessed with a beautiful wife who's all for God's heart.~~ Amen! =P

But something personal and bad has been happening in my family which is really hard(not kidding here) even for me to go through.. And if you guys are expecting me to finally blog about something emo, you're wrong! lol!

If some of you are wondering "why is it that this fella's life is always good and despite all those things that are happening to him he still remains strong. Why?" "Don't you have feelings at all?!" Lol. I do. =)

Surprisingly I am STILL awake even at this hour! Haha! Thought I should blog about a couple of things before I leave for Laos. Hmm lets start with what I did yesterday!

It was a really long day for me yesterday. Woke up and off I had to go to meet up with one of the CF guys for lunch. Then to OUG to settle all those ~~painful~~ lovely bank payments ~~that my parents kept nagging me to pay off by last week. =P~~

The interesting part of the whole journey was after finishing all the payments and as I waited at the bus stop for the bus to Mid Valley to come, a taxi came along and I just went on waiting for the bus anyway as I didn't intend to spend on a cab for transport. What caught my eye was this bumper sticker on the car with a scripture on it that says "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me" [John 10:27]

I love seeing things like that placed anywhere and so I came to a conclusion to take the cab anyway as I felt that it would be something thats gonna be worthwhile.

I commented to the taxi driver how I like the sticker and spoke to him throughout the journey. I even managed to give some encouragement as I know, being a taxi driver isn't the most enjoyable job. =) I love to encourage people and seeing the smile light up on their faces.

I really enjoyed it as it lights a hope in them and in me that there are people like these who cares for others and can make a difference where they are. We both agreed on how obnoxious taxi drivers can be these days and seeing that there are people who are otherwise really delights me. God bless that man! =D

Looking back at all the things I was before, I can tell you that if I were just to get a glimpse of who I was before years ago, I would want to strangle that old Benjamin Soo to death! =.=".. O the horror and humiliation! *tear clothes in grief* =P

But who I am now and how I live my life now, I owe it ALL to the one who sits on the throne, The Alpha and The Omega, Yahweh, My Saviour, My Redeemer, El Shaddai. Nothing compares to the promise I have in Him! Mannn.. Even the thought of all that transformation that took place over the years as God continues to transform me just echoes expressions of AWE in me! I AM OVERWHELMED! =D

Some of you have asked me why am I so passionate with the things I do and about this God I serve. Let me tell you why. =D And I've found the perfect video that will answer your question perfectly! Haha! Enjoy! =)

Hey people!! =D Aaaaahh even as I'm typing this I'm slowly starting to fall asleep. Lol! Had to wake up early today for my driving test! And just when I thought I had to be in the office by 6am(so I woke up at 5am to get ready T-T) I actually had to be there at only 7.15! *grr..* The good thing was that I woke up at 5am, so sleepy that I fell back to sleep and woke up again at 6.45am!! Seriously! lol! I tell you, everytime that happens, its seriously all God's work and not my own. Haha!

It was all good! What really frightened me right in the beginning was that there was a driver that was suppose to pick me up to the center and he came in a Kawasaki! Lol! No kidding! Was told that he came with a bike to save time from all the jam! But at the speed and way he drives!! Haha! I never imagine my death to be this way. lol! Because of that I was really scared and worried all the way, not because of the exam but my precious life! LOL! I came down from the bike and the fella smiled and asked:

"Never sit on bike before ar?"

Not in a death-defying way. No. =.="..

I was actually pretty tensed during the test hoping I'll do well! Was declaring for a victory over a challenge today and also for God's peace to activate in me and believe me, it works! ;) Halfway through waiting for my turn I have this really bad stomach ache and woah it hurts like mad! Really hate it when it happens! But with an assurance of faith, I laid my hand over the pain, command the pain and whatever to be put off/healed till I enter pass the doorstep of my house and amazingly thats what happened! lol! God is soooo good!

The first three obstacles, the one that I was afraid of most was the slope. But I made it through! Two of the other obstacles, made it through! Once again, God is good! =)

The road test however was different. I've got someone with a very nasty attitude! Went into the car and greeted and all I got was silence. So I thought, hmm, maybe she's just being serious (oh yeah, its a she). Without even giving me instructions (hellllooo??) whenever I make a small little mistake she would go "Ishhh! Engkau ni!! * and starts saying bad things*"

Err hello?? *Sigh* the more I think about it right now, the more provoked I am to call fire down from Heaven. =P But fine, I just went on, put on a smile and calmly take it in (as what she said affected my driving to a point where I almost didn't know what I was doing. =P)

Guess what? I passed. =) Once again, God is good! score: 17/20.

Saw this in the LRT as I took my own way back to Setia Jaya. I love the series! Still have not completely watched the complete season 3 yet!

Hey people! Its been such a loooooong time since I've updated, and yes I know its been a long time! lol! Got into the laziness of blog updating! XP

College has been awesome thus far! Been very busy getting all the work done! But by God's grace, it was all well! You take care of God's work, He will take care of yours! Agreed? ;) So many things happened over the recent week but I'm not gonna go to detail so let me just list them out!:

*Groans* Too... much... Orange Juiceee!.. D= Looking at the expiry date of my big carton of orange juice, the next day itself will be the expiry date! And there was about half of the carton left! I had no choice but to gulp them all down! I'm Vitamin C overloaded baybeh! Lol! Whatever H1N1 or flu viruses will flee in the name of Jesus and in the name of the overflowing Vitamin C in my system.. LOL!

Youth today was FANTASTIC! God speaks in awesome ways and HE HEARS YOU! You are THAT special to Him! You gotta know that! =D And today He heard me in my time of need and spoke right at me and my perspective and thought as I left the house of God can never be the same again! HE'S SO GOOOD! Amen Jade? LOL! I got to know Jade through the CF @ Taylor's the other day and she's one amazing person! Love the support, the agreement(especially in prayers.. lol) and the passion she has for God and His people! Rock on Jade! ;)

SALT-ing today was an awesome experience! Unlike yesterday, today's one was Gooooood! What can I say? My God is just amazing.. I just can't help it but to be blessed so tremendously! Hahaha! =D

Wow! College is really getting more and more interesting and I'm really looking forward to greater things that is in stored right here @ Taylor's PJ Campus!

Just last Tuesday, I get to meet up with our very own CF people @ the campus and wow they're an awesome bunch of people! I love the passion they have and can't help but think that indeed, its gonna be an awesome year like none other! WOOOO SO EXCITED! HAHA! =D

Other than that, theres my driving which I'm currently learning and 6 hours more of learning and I'll be qualified to get my P! Wooo! Can't wait! Its about time... Its about time the old "Taking-KTM-To-Petaling-And-From-There-Take-A-Taxi-To-Church" days is dead and gone! LOL! And hello to my new soon to be rideee:

Hey people! Yes, I too realized that its been ages since I updated! Haha! My apologies goes out to the die-hard fans of my blog (if there are any!) XP

Well, this past few weeks has been hectic! With events going on and things to do, well, thats home for me! Haha! Its just awesome lar getting to be back and I'm loving it! Orientation starts tomorrow for me! Fingers crossed I would only have 4 days of classes a week which does not include Saturday or Sunday! Haha!

Hmm what should I update about? Hmm, come to think of it, today MIGHT be the only day where I stayed at home the whole day and not go out anywhere, but then again.. Sunway Pyramid is just SOOOO near! So tempting! I can feel it! I can touch it! (You did not see anything)

Some of the guys(including Laureen =P) went out for basketball and wow it feels good to be back playing again! Had a great time! Even get to meet up with some of the people from Saujana. But Wai Ye, Johnny and myself dominated the first game with the Saujanians man! Wahaha! We rocked (surprisingly! =P after so long!)!

Yesterday me and Jo were out for a movie at Mid Valley with Hannah who came back from Australia! Was really fun! Had a great time catching up with her after so long! We watched Ice Age in 3D but it was quite a waste! The 3D effect is just not powerful enough.. Hannah commented that the one in Australia is way better! And well, me and Jo felt the burn in our pockets since we had to pay 17 bucks for it.. T-T The movie however, was really good! Cartoon movies are getting better each day! =D

Then later when Hannah had to leave, guess what we guys decide to do? YES! Finger exercise! Not DOTA, but LEFT4DEAD! YEAHHH! Lol! We went to Cybertime and played for a couple of hours and went back! It was all good.. =)

God is gonna take Soaring Eagles to a whole new level, really really looking forward to it! ;)

Hey guys!! I'm finally back in KL again! Haha! MAD camp was simply FANTASTIC! I just can't fully describe it but what I can tell you is that you MUST come for the next MAD camp! ITS JUST AMAZING! You'll never be the same again!

Well, as some of you might know, I'm currently living on my own! Haha! Living at Subang and about to go through the 2nd day living by myself! haha! Things are actually going really well! With the washing, ironing, cleaning.. One prob is the Surau nearby.. T-T EARLY in the morning can hear them praying and its so loud that it was as if they planted a mega speaker somewhere in the condo near the swimming pool! =.="...

Yesterday I went alone to Sunway, which was pretty fun btw! haha! it was an awesome feeling.. XP Went there to buy some stuff back and thought I'll watch a movie so I watched The Terminator! Played a lil of arcade first.. XP (P.S House of the dead 3 sucks! No shooting effects like Time Crisis 3! XP)

Today however, went to MV with Jo Ng and Kok Jen and we had a real good time! Watched Night at the Museum 2 for our first movie and it wasn't until Jo suggested for us to watch a 2nd movie that we watched Monsters vs Aliens in 3D!! Lol!! Those two movies were awesome! Can tell when Jo's beside you laughing his head off.. LOL! But one thing ar! That fella aiyo I tell you.. I was on my way to MV and was already running late thanks to KTM's brilliant timing and since I was already gonna be late, I told them to hide my ticket somewhere and I'll go get it since they already paid for my ticket..

Think about it, thats like so cool! Secret agent kinda stuff! Lol! Then that fella go smsed me saying that I am suppose to go to one guy on the far left of the popcorn counter and say "One happy meal please with extra happy" and he will give me my ticket. When I read that I was laughing man! Lol! Thinking how in the world did that fella thought this up. The bad thing is.. I believed him.. LOL!

So I went there.. Standing and thinking whether I should do it or not.. LOL.. And just when I was ABOUT to, Thank God KJ came to my rescue.. LOL! And there was Jo Ng, sitting at one table, top floor of McD looking at me, eating his meal.. =.="... And when I asked where's the ticket, it was with him... and he was recording the whole thing.. LOL! GAhhhhhh! Good thing I didn't make a fool out of myself and ask that person for my happy meal.. =.=".. JOOOO! I'll get you!

Ahh folks, my time in Laos is about to come.. to an end... ~~Woohoo!~~ Nevertheless I find it truly weird that one can only learn to appreciate something when the end of it comes. And boy has it been one heck of a journey! But now its time to pack up, go back home and start a new exciting adventure: COLLEGE! =D

I STILL have not packed yet.. XP Because if I pack now, it'll be even more difficult for me choosing what clothes to keep and to wear for the remaining days before heading back to KL! Lol!

However! I did try out that new Japanese restaurant in town! =P

Comments? Well, The set I ordered really tasted spectacular! Japanese curry rocks man! But the price lar.. T-T

Other than that, I also went out shopping for a luggage to use to bring my stuff back and also a smaller bag to use for MAD camp! =D

Yeahhh.. I'm ready... =P

Look! I also found Disneyland right here in Laos! =D .... =.="...

This is seriously one awesome shot man.. Lol! The effect of it is chunted! Thats Ton btw, with a torchlight behind a wall during the concert. We're backstage and just waiting for our queue. Lol!

The concert was awesome! Credits to Temasek for making it such a memorable one! =D I was the emcee and it worked out pretty well! As usual, the school is proned to getting things not COMPLETELY organized but in the end it was all good.. =)

Temasek did a fantastic job on their show! They started with their catwalk, then their Dikir Barat and their dance! Which was so energetic and full of power! lol! Not like the school's dance here one.. Like what only.. (Shh! XP) After the concert all the Temasek students and some of us senior students went out to a nearby shop to have our very late dinner. Poor students, they're probably starving and all they had to eat was Nasi Goreng and some Lao noodles when they're probably craving for Char Kuey Teow or Pan Mee. Lol!

Since there was this homestay program that was planned among the teachers (meaning that the students from Temasek are assigned to one of the students from my school who wants to host them/let them stay at our place) some of the guys went over to Jacky's since he's hosting 4 of them! Plus 2 more, Jun and myself! Lol!! (we decided to bunk in with him since I'm not hosting anyone and it sounds like its gonna be fun!)

We got to know each other a little bit more as we spend time together ~~playing PS2~~

and we stayed up till 3am! lol! Till each one of them start leaving the room to take shower and the next thing you know, they're all asleep.. LOL! But ahh those guys are an awesome bunch of people.. =) Gonna miss them!

The Temasek students of Singapore came to my school just yesterday and it was a real fun experience! They're quite a friendly bunch ~~(leng lui pun ada wor! XP)~~ and I must say, it feels GREAT again to finally speak to someone with "lahs" and "mahs" and the Malaysian/Singapore english accent!.. haha!

We started off with the recognition and graduation ceremony. Really feel sorry for the Singapore bunch as they had to sit all the way through it and they had nothing to do with the ceremony! lol! It was an event to remember! 4 awards!! Now thats something that comes like once in a lifetime man! Lol!! Outstanding Student Award, Best Student in ICT Award, Best Basketball Player Award and Best Sportman of KIS Award. It is simply amazing! And I wouldn't have done it without this God whom I serve. =D Pictures will be posted soon.. I hope.. XP

Today's the big annual concert and just earlier we had a practice session and with the Temasek people doing their catwalk-dikir barat-dance, its just fantastic! Their dance is so much more energetic, joyful and better than our school's! Lol! And I'm not saying this because of the Singaporean leng lui(s)! XP But man! You gotta admit, those girls look WAY better than the girls at my school.. LOL!

As for me, I'm one of the emcees for the event and also I'll be playing "Love Story" with the band a few hours from now! =D

I came across a message in twitter and it was about people krumping for Jesus! Now that is new! Krumping is a type of new street style dance (the quite aggressive kind) which is mostly use in dance battles in the streets and in the video you'll see why! And wow! These people are dancing, using it as their way of praise to God! Which I find is truly awesome!! Its amazing and I love this statement in the article in the end which went:

"God wants to hear what you want to say, and he don't care how you say it, and if you say it like this" -- Lewis contorted himself, krump-like -- "he hears you."

Yes, they might like look like they're possessed or something but they're not.. XP This dance is simply wicked (awesome)!

Woo! I've got to skip school and instead go for two weeks of driving lessons! Well reasons for that is because MOST of the students are off taking their exams in Thailand, so since me and some other students don't need it, we're stuck here in Laos and on Monday while I came and stayed the whole day, two came and went back in the middle of the day, the rest just didn't bother coming.. =.="..

The school was not too shabby.. Good enough to learn a couple of stuffs! Even got the chance to drive mum's Nissan X-Trail on the road today! haha! It was a nervous yet awesome experience..

See that red car there? Thats the manual car that goes when you release the clutch! O_O".. You don't even have to step on the gas and to top that, the gas pedal is even locked with a block of wood! =.=".. See that rusty roof there? Thats the office.. ^^

One thing I notice about Laos though is that once you're just a little bit away from the city, you'll get a BIG spectacular view of the sky which I find really fascinating! Its so hard to get those scenic views when every corner you look, theres a building that short sights you from an awesome God made view.. =) And you can see a few of them on these pics!

Ahh its finally raining again! Love it! Welp, thats all for now.. 3 more weeks till KL peeps! Excited yet burdened by a couple of things that has been troubling me.. But hey, He is faithful.. ;)

Mother's day

One thing I find rather interesting here is that when there would be big celebrations and flashy advertisements all over the world on Mother's day, and where there would be gifts and flowers on sale for this special event, Laos would be in a totally different dimension.. =.="..

I went to this store looking for something to buy for my mum and I couldn't find anything much that relates to mother's day! The products there were mostly (if not all) made in China and the last thing I would want to buy on Mother's day is a wish card that has english written chinese words on it.. =.=".. Oh oh! And they still sell Christmas cards! XP

But with all that aside, we are just blessed by these women for who they are in our lives.. =) So to all dearly beloved mums...

VIETNAM: MASSIVE CHRISTIAN CELEBRATION ALLOWED

Officials permit rare, open-air Easter event by unregistered groups.

HO CHI MINH CITY, April 22 (Compass Direct News) – In what religious freedom advocates regarded as a breakthrough in Vietnam, authorities granted rare permission to unregistered house church groups to hold a large, public Easter-related service here last night.

More than 15,000 people gathered at Tao Dan Stadium to worship God, proclaim Christ and experience a rare sense of large-scale Christian unity, especially house church members accustomed to meeting in small groups. The only other such event granted to unregistered groups was an open-air meeting during Christmas of 2007 sponsored by the Vietnam Evangelical Fellowship (VEF, a house church umbrella group).

At the event last night, the VEF endeavored to include all house churches, not just its own members, sources said.

Unregistered groups holding an event that includes worship and evangelism outside a church building violates Vietnam’s restrictive religion laws, and the celebration – in which 1,200 people indicated they had decided to follow Christ – did not happen without struggles. Reluctant to endorse such Christian unity events, authorities demanded and got the removal of one of the organizers – pastor Nguyen Ngoc Hien, who heads a Baptist house church and a group called the Christian Fellowship of Vietnam – as a condition to consider approval.

Officials did not grant permission until 4 p.m., just three hours before the event was to begin, though event organizers had requested permission several months prior. Authorities had assured them that permission was forthcoming, but organizers were understandably nervous. Adding to their concerns was the rain that hit just before the service began, though the rainy season has yet to arrive.

Since the celebration was held in the open air, a heavy rain would have been more than inconvenient. It rained just enough to refresh the air, stopping as the service began – an answer to prayer for participants. The celebration began with congregational worship; participants said the huge crowd sang with enthusiasm and joy.

“I never heard any singing like this, even in a Billy Graham crusade,” said one overseas Vietnamese Christian leader. “It was as if they offered to God all the praise and worship stored up in their hearts during many years of oppression.”

Worship included a dance group, and a 120-voice choir sang with gusto. Pastor Duong Thanh Lam of the Assemblies of God served as master of ceremonies, pastor Vo Van Lac of the Full Gospel Church preached a gospel message and pastor Pham Dinh Nhan of the United Gospel Outreach Church made an evangelistic appeal. People responded with loud applause and raised their hands in praise, and those who decided to follow Christ included old and young, students and teachers, rank-and-file workers and some disabled people. Witnesses said some were healed as leaders prayed for them.

Leaders of the celebration and religious freedom advocates in Vietnam said the event was significant in that unregistered house churches were allowed to hold a large public celebration. They added that authorities must have felt enough pressure to consider the event less harmful than possible negative publicity from denying permission.

The sources also said the event showed that Vietnam’s house churches, widely known for divisiveness and provincialism, could cooperate with good results.

“Those who have long urged and worked for unity can be pleased,” said one advocate. “While there is still a long way to go for Vietnamese Christian groups in practicing collaboration and partnership, this Easter celebration is seen as a significant step forward.”

A prominent overseas Vietnam leader who founded the Vietnam World Christian Fellowship witnessed the event and highly commended the leadership of pastor Ho Tan Khoa, chairman of the VEF, and his committee.

Some former Vietnam missionaries were incredulous that such events can take place in Vietnam, which until recently has had a place among the world’s top persecutors of religion. Prior to the Easter-related event organized by unregistered house churches, Christmas events were similarly held by the legally recognized Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) last December.

“That a successful Christian celebration with mass evangelism approved by the government can take place in Vietnam where in some places Christians are still heavily persecuted shows the ongoing inconsistency of Vietnam’s religion policy,” said one source. “Vietnam Christian leaders have long prayed for such opportunities. They see these events as direct answers from God, whom they believe holds the hearts of rulers in his hands.”

Three representatives of a house church group in China were present at the service; they expressed amazement. They promised Vietnamese church leaders to send missionaries to help in the evangelization of Vietnam and invited Vietnamese church leaders to visit China to learn about the church there.

Vietnamese participants said the celebration was inspiring, describing it as “spectacular,” “splendid,” “glorious” and “phenomenal.”

Well not literally on fire or in a sense of passion in this matter but it has been getting SOOO HOT these days! It went up to 40 degrees celsius today and the forecast also shows that it'll be that hot tomorrow as well! WAHHH!

Sorry for not updating so often anymore! Been wondering what should I blog about these days.. XP Been quite busy with school these days as the finals are coming up and also because since the school semester is about to end and with a few events coming up, that further adds to my work as I have to take part in those events!

CF however has been going good! =D 6 more weeks to go till I move back to KL and man, I'm trusting God that He has great things in stored, heading towards this school, CF and nation! He is good and His grace is sufficient indeed! But wow I'm already excited and all suit up to head back home already! Haha! Just in time for MAD camp which I'll get to be attending for the first time! haha! Missed it for years after years now! The only camp I got to go since I was in SE was only Pre-MAD 06' I think and Breakaway function in PD! It was awesome!

Well with all that aside.. Guess what I had for dinner? lol!

The thing about Lao new year

Is that people just have absolutely no idea what they're dealing with when they choose to drink drink drink and then drive.. To make that worse, motorcycles here cut here cut there don't follow the rules and some are just simply too hard-headed to wear a helmet..

Being here for just two years and I've seen accidents happening first hand probably more than my 16 years in KL! In one single trip back from school to my house in a matter of half an hour and at one point, I saw 3 motorcycle accidents! This is getting too far.. Even the police couldn't care less seeing people disobeying the traffic laws! Oi! Wake up!!!!!

There are even little kids at age of 12-14 who are already driving motorcycles around with no helmet! And sometimes even with 3 passengers on the same motorbike! GAHH!

Worse, on the way back I saw this person lying on the ground unconscious with his motorcycle on one side and he wasn't wearing a helmet.. And the next thing I saw was further up the road there were these bunch of people partying and drinking and dancing right outside the house.. Laos.. You need to wake up..

The painnn...!

Today was my trip to the dentist after a very long time! I have this irritating agonizing pain because of my gums overlapping my wisdom tooth on and off! I've no idea why it does that! Probably because all my teeth are alligned so close and tight to each other that it presses the gum upwards! And it seriously hurts! I can't even eat because when I close my teeth together to chew, it hits the gum!!

So we went around looking for a dentist here in Laos ~~and I even get to skip school for that XP~~

then at last we decide to go over to Thailand instead.. Around 30 minutes drive and they have WAYYY better dentists there! So here's what happened..

The dentist asked if I would like to pull it off because it is useless anyway and because it just hurts so bad, I agreed to pull it off.. And that experience was horrible! They had to inject two shots into my gums to numb it and that itself wasn't that bad.. the part when the dentist begins to pull it out was when the fun starts... (right...)

The pain was EXCRUCIATING!!! IT WAS SOOOOO PAINFUL! There comes a point in your life when you'll cry out "Help me Jesus!!" And for me, this was THAT moment!! T_T! The doctor had to try to pull it out like 3 times!!! And all those tries HURT like MADDD!! When he pulled it out, he told me it was really hard because the tip of the root of my tooth was bent! And you can imagine that! it was like a hook man! so my theory was right.. the teeth WERE pressing against each other and causing the gum to be pressed and overlap the tooth! XP

And to imagine what would've happened if I went to the Laos dentist instead.. O_O"... But for me, a visit to the dentist is important! I'm even considering on having braces fixed to straightened my teeth, its really worth it! (yeah, I tend to be very hygienic.. XP)

But later of all the things I'm SUPPOSE to eat, I decided to eat KFC.. spicy chicken summore.. LOL! I was praying that God would sanctify it and that it would not do any damage to the gum.. XD lol! But God is faithful and you know, He works even in the smallest of things! =) Hallelujah!

Wow! The weather this evening was spectacular! There was a basketball match going on and half-way through the end of the game there was a strong wind that swept across the school and dust were brewing up on the court! Haha! And so, the game had to be postponed! But... We still hanged around and played anyway.. XD

Till all of a sudden it was raining heavily and I didn't notice a big mist was rushing into the court! It was fantastic!! Lol! The feeling of it was awesome!! Till, I ran after a ball, slipped and landed on my shoulder.. T-T Thank God it wasn't anything serious! I landed really hard and good thing it was only my arm and not my head! Hallelujah! XP

Ahh... I love it! Thank You Lord for the weather! =]

Back from Malaysia!

Man I had such a great time back home with the people in HSG and SE that it was SOOOO HARD for me to leave!! XP Love hanging out with them and just being able to see them again is such a blessing! =D SE has definately grown and greater things are yet to come! =)

It just so happened that the day I came back was another week filled with great events happening in HSG! There was a special speaker who spoke for our Church on prayer- YOUR powerline to performance-, Apostle Tommi Femrite and man it was a life-changing conference! For those of you who weren't there, you people has just got to get the CD recording of it! =D

Other than that there was also Pre-MAD camp that was coming up the week I'm around, couldn't make it unfortunately. ='( had to leave on the second day itself back to Laos again. But I was helping out with the campbooks and all the other things and wow, as expected it was Fantastic! Really wish I could attend it! HOWEVER, MAD camp is just right around the corner and I'm already saving up for it! haha! Praying that I could make it just in time for the camp!

When I say JESUS You say?!?! (*hint hint* Praise HIM! XP)

God is SO AWESOME! I can never thank Him enough for the great things He is doing in my life. The youth concert as I've mentioned to some was great! Minus the skype digital problems that sounded like robots having emotional warfare and morse codes, it was fantastic! =D I really just wish I could be there for it! So guys, when's the next concert? XP

Another thing thats been buzzing me off is the extreme hot weather in LAOS! What makes it worse is that there has been two blackouts at night! Praise God that it didn't last throughout the night! If you think Malaysia is hot with a temperature of 30 degrees celsius WITH rain and wind then think again! Laos is up to a whooping 38 degrees celsius with no rain and wind!! Well, thats if you consider a 2mph wind a wind lar.. XD

However! This week is gonna be the start of the greater things to come! =) God is gonna unleash and show this nation what He's really all about! CF's starting in two schools! Its gonna be awesome guys!

Oh oh oh! I'm coming back on the 12th of March people! 12th of March! =D Roll the red carpets people, cuz big mama's coming home! LOL! XP

Road trip!

Hey guys! Decided to go along with my mum and uncle on a 2 hour road trip to somewhere called "Pakkading" yesterday! Thats where my dad's workers works and since its paycheck time, my mum had to go there to pay the workers.

Its my first time going there and along the way, I saw the construction of the new stadium for the SEA games and it looks cool! I was really surprised! This stadium actually looks modern and up to date! XD

The roadside though is really dusty! It really needs some major cleaning up to do! XP but the scenery is awesome! Greens, fresh air, cool breeze, light piercing through the trees, it is spectacular!

I brought a mini-dvd player with me along the trip and watched 7 pounds and Australia! XP 7 pounds is definately a movie to watch! From the same directors from "The Pursuit of Happiness" and if you guys watched that before and loved it, you guys are gonna love this one! haha!

I was sitting in the car, thinking about all that happened earlier and one word just came into my mind:

Astonished!

So I thought of looking that word up and its defined as "amaze; affect with wonder". I love the second definition of the word! =D

Ok now back to what happened.. lol! We had this basketball tournament (yet again XP) but this time it only last two days! But what a game it was man! haha!

The day before my match I kept thinking about the match that I'm gonna face and the opponent we're playing against.. No doubt I cannot do it without God.. I can make it through the match, but if I were to really play well in the game, I needed God! So I was up before going to bed praying and just asking that He'll be my strenght and that my attention will go to Him and not myself.. XP If I win, I'll praise Him, if I lose, I'll praise Him!

The next day I woke up and did my warm-ups and was feeling pretty nervous about the match! Haha! Head down to the school, ate some bananas for energy.. Note that I didn't even have my breakfast.. XP All I had was an orange because I can feel God just telling me "Listen, I want to show you that I will be your strenght without any of this food you're gonna take, so that you will know that it is I who will be your strenght, and not the food you're gonna take".

The first match, we were up against this team from a chinese school! We were leading but they caught up with us and outbeat us by 8 points! But that there is like a surprise to us already because the team we're up against are really good! And many other people agreed on that.. And there we are, 8 points away from them! XP

Now the second match was where the climax of it all began! We're facing another team also from the chinese school! We had a good start! Scores tied for a long time till Time Out was called.. Then it began! I was all tired and my legs were aching and I couldn't get the rebounds I'm suppose to and wasn't doing really well...

My PE teacher called me to sit next to him and he's a Christian and he was telling me how in the mist of all this things that are happening, despite being nervous, worn out and tired, that there is this God who is bigger! That at times like this when I feel nervous and tensed when shooting, all I need to do was to relax and say "Ok God, you take it from here". Things will be so much more better if I lay off relying only on my strenght and start relying on His! And he also mentioned about just thinking and knowing that there is someone on the upper floor who we can rely on..

What he said really fired me up and I'm ready to GO! A few minutes into the game I was scoring 6 points! And we're leading them by alot!! Till I fouled them too many times and I was out of the game.. XP It was tied in the end again, but an extra 2 minutes was added and we lost by 3 points because of fouls.. XD It was such a close game and boy was it a great feeling when you start realizing, not merely just realizing but REALLY knowing that God is there and He is in control!! =D

Today I marked it not as the day we lost to the tournament we paid RM10 for, but the day God showed me what He can do through me and for me! =) My God is awesome!

The last thing I want to do on a friday right after school is having to rush off to Thailand! =P But circumstances calls for it so off we go to the promised land! XP It would've been so much easier and enjoyable if there were no homeworks that are needed to be done over the weekend, and I've just realized that all the homeworks were given by the same teacher.. =.="..

So here we are at the border!

The pain is not really much in the place itself but the LONG Qz that bundle up over the weekend since alot of people in Laos love to cross over to get things they can't find in Laos. Like KFC ~~and underwear sales! XP~~

It usually takes about an hour an a half to get there. We've reached our destination and first stop: Hotel! Dropped our things in the room and off we go for dinner! =P Which is located near the train station and the food there is fantastic! Food court equipped with tvs all over and with good food and a good football match on, nothing gets better than that! lol!

A football match was on while we were there. Thailand against Denmark! And the Thailand supporters here outbeat this single Danish supporter (below) here...

By a landslide! =P

The only one cheering out loud and standing up when Denmark scored and when Thailand missed was him.. XP Fortunately for him, there were no hardcore Thai football fans around or he would be having his last supper.. XP Had a great time! With the food.. XP

We left early the next morning and the weather is awesome! Before heading back to Laos again, we made one quick stop at...

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo...!! I think one of the worse thing that could happen is when you're happily showering under the hot soothing water and suddenly the water stops running.. Thats what happened to me, and to make things worse, the temperature in Laos has gotten to as cold as 11 degrees celsius! XP

One time after school, was also showering but this time the water was still running, but strangely enough, the vent went off... When I opened my eyes, it was pitch black! XD The electricity went off this time.. XP And because there was no electricity, the heater didn't work... And the water slowly turned ice cold! XP

And today, as I'm typing right now, the pipe that carries and transports water across the capital is broken.. =.=".. And we're left with no water for possibly three days! O_O!

Actually by then I would've gone berserk.. LOL! Recruit a bunch of guerilla fighters and revolutionist and plan a coup plot to overthrow the government.. XP But what kept me calm and still in delight is when I thought of those who are in a much worse situation than me.. Those poor people out there in Laos who don't even have anything to wear in this cold weather and how I just want to help them.. I consider myself so blessed and how I just want to show them just how good my God is! =)

This video is what really opened up my eyes and boy I really felt guilty when I watched this because I was one of the many who complains in the little little things when others don't even have close to what I have.. It'll blow your mind! A must watch!

Yes! Can you believe it? The first week of the New Year has started and about to end! There goes my weekend! XP

Alot of things have been happening in just ONE WEEK here in Laos! And its just the first week! haha! The weekend is an awesome gateway to chill out and relax after one LONG tiring week at school. Hey, my school starts at 8am finishes at 4pm everyday after all.. XP But my God is greater, stronger and bigger! So if I have to go through this for the next couple of months, I say, bring it ON! XD

However, due to an appointment with the doctor today I had to sleep the friday night off to leave early today for Thailand! On a saturday! XP But going across the border is not ALL bad! For one, Thailand = Chance to eat KFC, and chance to eat KFC = Stomach happy. =P

Gahh! But stomach happy = fat.. =.="..

Week 2, bring it on! I can do all things through this God that lives in me!

Hello 2nd day of New Year! =D Remember the picture from the previous post about a news on the decoration for the New Year in Laos? I so happen to come across it yesterday!

Ahh! Looks better, added lights to it at least.. XP Now I know why its blue and yellow...

My family and I went over to Thailand today for my check-up on my numb cheeks which is driving me nuts because I can't even eat properly or rinsing after brushing my teeth and drinking without water spilling out of my mouth uncontrollably.. XP

When the results were out after I took the X-Ray and blood test (the funny thing about it was that the nurse inject the needle on my right arm and couldn't get any blood! First time ever! lol! Noooooo! I'm getting fat! XP), the doc explained a positive for Sinusitis as there was some fluid that can be seen and also Facial Nerve Palsy! When I heard that I went "WOAH!" without knowing what it is.. LOL! I have the tendency to do that when words like "Palsy" or "Sitis" comes into the description.. HAHA! XP

But I was informed that it isn't serious at all and believing that the medicines prescribed would help cure it in no time! =D God is good indeed! =)

Other than that, about my title for this post, was referring that this year is gonna be great indeed! Just can't wait to see and be a part of the awesome plan our God Almighty has laid out for this particular year!

Woah! First Christmas now New Year?! lol!

Remember when I told you about not getting to celebrate a proper Christmas in my previous post? Now I won't event be able to celebrate a proper New Year as well! XD

Well, first, my parents are out to survey an area in the northern provinces of Laos for their work because things are not really going well for their company and they're having problems with the finance which is bad.. Because... Ok let me write out an equation for you:

Parents + Bad Finances in company = Low income ~~+ No New Year money for me XP~~

They were suppose to be back by today, but they still have to carry on with their work and they gotta do it fast because the New Year's gonna start and if they delay it any further, things are not gonna be pretty.. XP And I do understand what they're going through and if it means not being able to celebrate the New Year together then its really alright.. =)

But another thing I found out was that I have Sinus Infection! O_O"! I looked it up the internet just now when I thought it was getting a lil serious.. I recently had puffy eyes, the part below my left eye is numb and I've been having this headache in the morning..

The strange thing is how I came to know about the name for it.. I just heard it from Joe Cheah who came over to Laos months ago and told me about the same infection that he had and the pain is driving him nuts! Its freaking painful, and I read it up on the internet just now and it advised not to go on air travel when having the infection.. Now I know why.. XP

He said its the result of blowing your nose too hard and I am just surprised because I was praying last night, so afraid of what is happening and suddenly I thought of what Joe Cheah told me about what he had that time and I remembered these days that I've been blowing my nose pretty hard..

I thank God especially for moments like those when He just go "you have me on your side, and you know that I can do all things, and yet you're still afraid of what is gonna happen to you?".

And I don't think I would be able to know what's happening to me if it wasn't for Him opening up ways for me to find it because instead of Sinus infection, I was typing "Synal infection" on the Google search bar! LoL!

Hey Guys! Merry Christmas to all of you! =D Have a joyful blessed week up ahead y'all!

Christmas for me this year, being in Laos was quite unusual.. lol! But nevertheless Christmas is Christmas! Hehe! Its not the gifts, decorations or songs that counts but the real reason why its celebrated in the first place which is the birth of Christ the Saviour! =D Hosanna in the highest! =)

With my parents being busy even during Christmas (Yeah I was really surprise that the students even have school and workers still have work on this day! O_O"), we had to celebrate it in a different way.. =P

On Christmas eve, My family and I went for dinner at a French Restaurant called "La Terrase", which is quite a nice place! =) I ordered this lamb steak meal, which was a complete mistake - It came out as two pieces of bone with just some ~~miserable~~ meat on it.. =.="..

On Christmas day however(today), there was morning service so we set off and later had our lunch at an Indian restaurant.. XP What a good ideal choice of meal for Christmas eh? lol! Later in the evening, which is just awhile ago, we had dinner at our grandparents.. But instead of Turkey we had Goose.. XP Boy what a Christmas! lol! [Sorry I couldn't get any pictures though.. XP]

But it is still such an awesome day nonetheless just being able to delight myself in God and celebrate the day when He stepped down and came for us! =)

Hey people! Don't you just love the decoration and the season's atmosphere?! Its truly awesome! Well, theres not much around in Laos (minus the tiny Christmas tree which is the ONLY Christmas ~~miserable~~ decoration in my house.. XP) but my trip to Thailand yesterday was truly satisfying! =)

Now on to a less merry subject, my hair.. LOL! Went for a haircut today after being suggested to go to and now it looks more miserable than ever.. XD I look like Barack Obama! T-T It is THAT short! XP

One thing I thank God for is that it didn't end up like last time with baldspots all over.. XP And I'm gonna continue to believe that He will heal me! =)

Ahh! I love this time of the year! haha! It carries so much significance, and at the sight of the decorations, songs and atmosphere that accompanies it, it is a season like no other! =) And the cool mornings and late evenings here makes it specially awesome! This is the day my God marks the beginning of our redemption! He saved the day! =D

Other than that, school's is out for two weeks in a week! Will be getting my report card this monday and I simply just can't wait to send it to Segi and get it done with.. XP Hope it goes well and that I get a confirmed entry to go back there next year! Really looking forward to it!

Don't really have a plan this Christmas, but man how I really much want to go back there and spend Christmas with you guys!

Having to stay here for Chinese New Year is bad enough, if Christmas then how?! lol!

Ahh! What a day! =D Fionna Tan and her family came to Laos today and we brought them around.. It is a blessing to have them here and they really leave a mark here and its only just one visit! haha!

Pastor La was with us as well and welp, what else can I say? HSG Laos is gonna be up and running real soon! =)

The strange thing that happened today was that on our way back home from this shopping mall, we were walking towards the lift and waiting when we saw this crab walking right infront of us! LoL! a baby crab about the size of your fist and its like waiting and wanting to go into the elevator also! =P Talk about a shopping mall! How did that crab ever got there in the first place?! lol!

Tomorrow they're heading to Thailand! A sad thing lar I can't join them on their trip.. But it is so good to get to talk pure manglish with someone after SOOOO LONG! lol!

Cookies anyone?

Talking about cookies a few days ago inspired me to try baking! lol! So with the help of two beautiful ladies, we made...

Ta-da! We tried putting in Cadbury bar as well, but didn't seem to work.. LOL! Instead of melting like we anticipated, it turned hard.. XP Ok la, so its not advertisement worthy, but it tastes awesome! Had so much of it till I'm bloated! XP

That's my sister and her friend who's mum makes awesome Korean Sushi! lol! And I need to get myself a more decent camera.. XP

With cookies and wookies(the two girls.. LOL!) aside, I was reading the message Stephen shared on saturday on the SE website and when he mentioned about this moment being the 11th hour, it struck me that this really is that coming moment!

And I see how God gently and slowly reveals the plans that He has here in Laos and what He wants me to do here.. And day by day as I continue to walk with Him, I become more aware and this desire begins to activate more passionately for His cause!

Yup, I'm expecting greater problems and obstacles along the way, but if thats what it takes, then thats what I'll go through!

First drive on road!

Haha! Yup! Yesterday was my first ever drive on the road! And no, thats not my car, and no again, thats not where I drove.. XP It was this long stretch not far away from my house.. And it was a good start! I hope... lol!

Before that I was learning on an open space area for a few times and then yesterday was the real deal! lol! My dad asked if I wanna hit the roads with it! I was really nervous! Takut later instead of ending up at home, end up at the hospital pulak.. On stretches.. Or even worse, Nirvana memorial center... =S Ok la ok la, maybe I'm not THAT important.. lol! Yes I'm perasan, I know.. XP

Anyway back to driving, it was an awesome feeling though first times are always scary.. XP Just can't wait to head back to KL.. Hope it'll be for Christmas! Happy Holidays people! Miss you all back home!

The Christmas season officially begins!!

Well.. almost.. XP Not until my exams are done anyway.. Which is in a fortnight! I really miss you guys back home! Really wish I could be there for Christmas with you guys!

I'm sure missing alot of things back there! Graduation, driving, SPM celebration... Cheese Crab! Lol! Definately can't wait to be back!

Yea another week past in this ~~BORING~~ developing country! Now youth yesterday was interesting.. Despite of the name of the place we went to.. lol! Its called buddha park and the first thing that flashed across my mind was "What?! I thought we're Christians.. lol!"

But of course lar we didn't go there to pandai pandai bow down and worship buddha.. lol! It was a long trip to go there and when we reached the place, it was actually a really nice open place.. Right next to it is the Mekong River and you can see Thailand from there.. I hope I can get the pictures soon though! haha!

So we all were there and the game they prepared was Capture the Flag! Really a fun game! Especially in a BIG open space! Some of my schoolmates were able to join us today and I'm truly glad they enjoyed themselves! God is truly awesome! =)

Wacha Bazaar!!

Today was the WIG Bazaar (Woman Internation Group I think thats what it stands for)! Its sort of like a carnival/food and item fair sort of thing. Its up every year and the food they have there are awesome! Haha! Food from all over the place! Made and sold by the respective embassies..

Unfortunately, I've not taken any photos as I was really occupied with the rest of the students for our art project, being mascots.. XP

It was actually pretty fun entertaining the kids, minus the times they start whacking my butt and check to see who's under the mascot and when people start looking at you weirdly.. lol! And I've found out that the enthusiasm Lao people have here are dead below active.. XP

There was even Malaysian food! lol! I had some of the noodles which tastes awesome! Didn't get to taste the nasi lemak though.. T-T However, I did have German Sausages! =P So many things to eat but rugi lar I ate lunch before I went there! =S

All in all, it was great! But I would absolutely have chosen to be in SE if I was in KL right then! XP Oh and not forgetting to mention, I'm going back on the 23rd July! Booked the tickets! XP Got them at a really cheap rate! Thank God for Airasia! lol!

You know, it is so easy to spot an insignificance of an incident and fail to see the bigger picture of it all.. But if you simply place your trust on God, you simply know, that He will never let you down.. =)

And simply just a few days ago, He has been so GOOD to me! And I just can't stop praising Him for it!

It was just like any other day, and as you've might recall me blogging about this hair problem I had.. My family and I went across to Thailand to shop basically when unexpectedly this promo about hair loss treatment thing appeared infront of us as we were walking. =P

My mum then came up with the idea of going for it and I was completely embarrased and didn't want to go for it.. XP The next thing I know, we were in the err... shop or whatever you call it that has this hair treatment program thing.. Rather embarrasing really.. People must be thinking I ate too much maggi or ajinomoto or something.. XP

The thing about it is that the cause of it is uncertain, and that if not treated soon, I would possibly go bald.. lol! And the price for the medication is overexceedingly expensive!! Seriously! I thought that it was not worth it! Around 1000 US dollars for hair products.. Its not like I have cancer or anything anyway.. lol!

I told my mum about it, that I don't want it if it costs so much, I'd rather save that for college or something.. Because it is simply too much! but as I was waiting at the back while they're putting this free trial sort of treatment thing, my mum came back and told me that my parents decided to pay for it.. By credit card, so if it does get through, its paid and done, if it doesn't, then well no treatment.. =P

I was hoping it wouldn't get through but as I was just sitting there for so long waiting for my mum to come, I was just thinking and praying about it, asking God what should I do.. And the simple response was simply "Trust me".. My parents paid for it without hesitating and I woke up the next morning, praising God because I no longer lose as much hair as before and I was on the journey to recovery! =D What I've been praying for, God has heard and He has answered me through this! He has blessed my family and provided for me to receive that treatment and despite my hesitation, HE MADE IT HAPPEN! =D

I am simply overwhelmed!

Woohoo! The cold season is here! Say goodbye to hot evenings and mornings and hello chilly weather! Unlike on other days, I would be sweating right after I just had a shower! Its seriously really hot on other days!

Today has been one incredible day as once again I've witness the awesome goodness of our Mighty God!

One was getting to eat Brownie Bliss @ Joma.. XP The second is that theres no school tomorrow.. XD

Well now on to the BIG one! Our P.E teacher organized this mini basketball tournaments in different categories ranging from games like 3-point shooting to one-on-one games which we need to pay but for a good cause.. Raising money for some charity work sort of thing..

I entered a 1-on-1 game and I was playing with this fast swift dude and my first impression was "Oh no...". The problem was that facing a guy with that speed, he'll steal every ball everytime I try to get in as I'm not such a good handler myself.. XP I'm big... but I'm not fast! haha!

The game ended with 10-11! I lost but wow! I still have goosebumps thinking about it right now! LOL! Because it was seriously one heck of a game! Getting just one shot in was what I thought would probably happen for me but God surely turned things around!

This is no guy who just started playing here! He's like the former captain last year and I just started playing last year! XP I was scoring in ways that when I think about it now, I go "Woahh.. Did I actually score like that?!" XP

After every shot I made in, I thank God because He is the one that deserve the glory, not me.. I couldn't have done it without Him! =] It was awesome! Win or lose, give Him glory! Thats when He would start moving in you like never before! Hallelujah man! XP I'm still surprised! LOL!

Theres one thing in common that we so often forget to do whenever we are in the mist of trouble, and that is surrendering and asking for help. It is simply so easy to shout "Help! Help!" when you're in a burning building or drowning but yet so hard when you're facing a giant in your life.

Instead we go around with a sulky papaya face the whole week like its some kind of competition to see who has the equivalent figure of a real papaya, while at the meantime, hundreds and hundreds of people are dying that same moment you're being emo. While on the other hand, things could've turned out to be so much better if you would just call out to God and say "I surrender to You".

The Bible confirms that its true and our God is truly our Redeemer and He stays true to His words. He is this God who wants more than ever to help you out and to just move through and within you, but at the same time, you gotta remember that He is also a gentlemen, which basically means that He won't act, until you ask Him to.

These troubles and worries in your life are simply signboards leading back to God. He uses them to constantly remind you that you need Him and think about it, if the world was so perfect and all was good all the time, we wouldn't need God.

It was just this weekend when I felt completely worn out and I simply need restoration! Something within me is incomplete and I just sit down on my bed, in my room alone and just surrender it all to God. He knows what I'm going through and I asked what I needed. In my opinion some people are simply not asking God enough.

You gotta dare to ask!

This morning when I woke up, it was simply as ordinary as any other day, but it was raining heavily, and suddenly I begin to praise God and feel this amazing presence that simply empowers and overwhelms me completely! I no longer feel incomplete and I was ready to face the day. He is true to His words and I have encountered/experienced it first hand!

God is simply awesome! But the question is, what are you making out of it?
