The taste of independence!

Woo! I've got to skip school and instead go for two weeks of driving lessons! Well reasons for that is because MOST of the students are off taking their exams in Thailand, so since me and some other students don't need it, we're stuck here in Laos and on Monday while I came and stayed the whole day, two came and went back in the middle of the day, the rest just didn't bother coming.. =.="..

The school was not too shabby.. Good enough to learn a couple of stuffs! Even got the chance to drive mum's Nissan X-Trail on the road today! haha! It was a nervous yet awesome experience..

See that red car there? Thats the manual car that goes when you release the clutch! O_O".. You don't even have to step on the gas and to top that, the gas pedal is even locked with a block of wood! =.=".. See that rusty roof there? Thats the office.. ^^

One thing I notice about Laos though is that once you're just a little bit away from the city, you'll get a BIG spectacular view of the sky which I find really fascinating! Its so hard to get those scenic views when every corner you look, theres a building that short sights you from an awesome God made view.. =) And you can see a few of them on these pics!

Ahh its finally raining again! Love it! Welp, thats all for now.. 3 more weeks till KL peeps! Excited yet burdened by a couple of things that has been troubling me.. But hey, He is faithful.. ;)

Laos is on fire!

Well not literally on fire or in a sense of passion in this matter but it has been getting SOOO HOT these days! It went up to 40 degrees celsius today and the forecast also shows that it'll be that hot tomorrow as well! WAHHH!

Sorry for not updating so often anymore! Been wondering what should I blog about these days.. XP Been quite busy with school these days as the finals are coming up and also because since the school semester is about to end and with a few events coming up, that further adds to my work as I have to take part in those events!

CF however has been going good! =D 6 more weeks to go till I move back to KL and man, I'm trusting God that He has great things in stored, heading towards this school, CF and nation! He is good and His grace is sufficient indeed! But wow I'm already excited and all suit up to head back home already! Haha! Just in time for MAD camp which I'll get to be attending for the first time! haha! Missed it for years after years now! The only camp I got to go since I was in SE was only Pre-MAD 06' I think and Breakaway function in PD! It was awesome!

Well with all that aside.. Guess what I had for dinner? lol!

Behold ladies and gentlemen, Ant Egg Omelette! If you look closer, you could see some white small thing(s) at the bottom of the picture there, and guess what are those? (here's a hint that you'll get by answering this quiz: If ants do not give birth like mammals do, how do they reproduce? lol!)

Road trip!

Hey guys! Decided to go along with my mum and uncle on a 2 hour road trip to somewhere called "Pakkading" yesterday! Thats where my dad's workers works and since its paycheck time, my mum had to go there to pay the workers.

Its my first time going there and along the way, I saw the construction of the new stadium for the SEA games and it looks cool! I was really surprised! This stadium actually looks modern and up to date! XD

The roadside though is really dusty! It really needs some major cleaning up to do! XP but the scenery is awesome! Greens, fresh air, cool breeze, light piercing through the trees, it is spectacular!

I brought a mini-dvd player with me along the trip and watched 7 pounds and Australia! XP 7 pounds is definately a movie to watch! From the same directors from "The Pursuit of Happiness" and if you guys watched that before and loved it, you guys are gonna love this one! haha!

Other than that we had lunch at this place which is quite famous and boy does the food taste scrumptious! =D

Walking down the entrance and you could smell the seducing aroma of the cooked food already! =P

We got a nice place to sit with a nice view to enjoy while we eat. XP

Bamboo?! In Laos?! O_O"!

The menu however, was a different story! I can't imagine how would someone who can't read Laos or Vietnamese understand what they're ordering! XD

Fried chop?! Two taste frish fried?! XP

Omelet bag meat?! XP

Chicken flu =P

When news spreads of bird flu in Thailand, Laos, being a commited buyer of chickens from Thailand continues to buy KFC anyway.. XP Well, not the real Kentucky Fried Chicken that we know and love, but Kouvieng* Fried Chicken.. XP

* The name of a street where the stall is situated in. Also along the road is the hazardous water park that gives you a very neat souvenir when you go back home, BRUISES! XP

Planetshaker's got a new album out soon! XP

What a day! =D

What an awesome day! After a very long time, finally got the chance to eat Chicken Rice again! And this one is made by Singaporeans! haha! Well good enough lar! Now at least theres a place in Laos to remind my tastebuds of home! =P

And the food is seriously good! Pretty costly but its worth a once in awhile visit! Restaurant offers a very unique/clean environment! Better than most of the shops here in Laos! =P

Well that was after going to school to get the new uniform, and boy does it look weird. My sister commented that I look like a clown. O_O"!

But it was great to get to shoot some hoops again after so long! Really enjoyed it! Interested to be involved in the next coming basketball competition!

New building, new subject, new teachers, new classmates, its gonna be pretty exciting(Which I bet will only last a few months? XP)! But oh well, final year after all.. haha!

Anyway! With that aside, on to the next topic! H-A-I-R! XP

And yes! I'm still losing hair! LOTS of them! lol!

But I'm just strenghten hearing this still soft whisper letting me know that I can be rest assured that I will be healed and He will simply take this burden and shame away from me!

Though ashamed and afraid of the worse that could happen, there is great possibility of the best that could happen as well knowing that the God I have in me is God of all possibilities! =D

My trip to the Lao market

Yesterday, we went to the Lao market to get some fresh ingredients for dinner.. Decided to follow my mum and ended up carrying the groceries.. O_O"..

We bought some frogs and I kept one as a pet and name it Bobby and prawns and it taste so much better than buying frozen products. =P

Also bought a few movies to watch! =D Wall-E, Speed Racer & Camp Rock. Really good movies!

This movie is awesome! =P Really gets to you.. A must watch for disney pixar fans!
Certainly the best cartoon movie of the year! haha..

School's starting pretty soon! Really excited to do something there and see God's spirit powerfully move in the school! =D

Go Malaysia!

Woohoo! Malaysia's badminton players, Lee Chong Wei and the others and archer, Cheng Chu Sian is off to the nearby finals! Go Malaysia! =D

Now back to Laos, which I've not heard of any news from the Olympics! lol! Ok lar ok lar.. No more mean-ness. *ahem*

Yesterday I had a pretty awesome dinner at a French restaurant, really satisfying! I had beef steak in goat cheese and basil oil or something like that.. haha! and it really taste good! Even though the recipe could sound a lil intimidating. =P

And here are more pics!

Durian twist!

Another day! =D *sounds of bird chirping* In Laos! =.=".. *bird dies*.

Had this durian which my parents bought! Great to taste durian again! But this one has this hard skin to it and tastes abit sour.. =.=".. Had this pepsi twist flavour to it.. lol!

Anyway, here are more pictures from the country! Will be gone for the weekend for a retreat with my family to check out the place in the south! =D

Today, I'll be showing you the house roof! XP

The view from above! Thats my house entrance!

The balcony where I would come in the morning last time to do my devotion! Its really an awesome place! But its noisy, so now I do it in my room.. XP

Ooo look! Theres a goat outside my house! =P

And for the main event: Fried Ant's Eggs! Yeah! For real! Wasn't joking at all! XP but they got the spelling wrong lar.. XP
